For accurate transportation of liquids, gases and solutions with low flow rates. The action of the peristaltic pump is shown in the drawing. The three basic actions are: The rolling roller compresses the hose. The tube returns to its original shape, sucking in liquid that is held by the next roller and pressed out of the tube as the rollers continue to rotate. This procedure ensures that there is no contamination of the liquid or the pump, since the liquid is completely contained in the hose. The gentle pump movement provides exact flow rates and since the pump works with self-priming, it can also run dry.
